The inaugural cycle of photo exhibition in Galleria CUC has been titled “The Beginning” and exhibits works by aspiring young photographers. The photographers in Cycle 1 come from diverse backgrounds and includes first-timers and experienced professionals alike. A total of 20 photographs are being exhibited in Cycle 1. The photographers who participated in Galleria CUC’s maiden exhibition, Cycle 1: The Beginning were Kushal Goyal, Prajwol Sijapati, Cheteze Tamang, Sagar Chitrakar, Yokko Yehang Kirant, Prajwal Bhattarai, Swapnil Acharya, Gaurav Dhwaj Khadka and Hari Bangsha Kirant.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Abhi Subedi on Sunday, 16 August 2009 in an event organised to coincide with the occasion of World Photography Day 2009.
