CUC organised a week-long photo exhibition of UNESCO World Heritage sites in SAARC Nations under the theme “UNESCO World Heritage in SAARC Nations” from 19 to 26 December, 2009 in Kathmandu.

Through UNESCO World Heritage in SAARC Nations Photo Exhibition, we tried to disseminate information on the significance of UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites in SAARC Nations; while also highlighting the need to safeguard these sites. By showcasing the beauty, wonder, diversity and significance of World Heritage Sites in SAARC Nations, people, especially youth, will be encouraged to preserve and conserve the Heritage Sites.
