Cycle 4: Selfie

In this Cycle, we asked our participants what being yourself meant to them. We asked what they saw when they looked at the mirror. As a result, they have shown us what "Selfie" meant to them.

Cycle 3: Mist

March 7 2010 onwards

The participating photo artists in Galleria CUC's Cycle 3: Mist have asked themselves this very question and have presented us their vision of Mist. The art works on display portray a wide range of emotions. Some represent the vast emptiness where you will feel lost and lonely, some show rays of life in all its subtle vibrancy and others take you far to a serene, dreamlike world.

Photo Kavya is now being exhibited in Galleria CUC after a successful week at the Nepal Art Council Gallery Babarmahal last month. 20 selected photographs from the exhibition will be displayed for a limited time. This is a great chance to all those who missed the exhibition in Art Council.

The list of exhibitors include Shikar Bhattarai, Swapnil Acharya, Cheteze Tamang, Gaurav Dhwaj Khadka, Prajwal Bhattarai, Sagar Chitrakar, Sharad Aryal, Sneha Shrestha, Prazwol Sijapati and Kushal Goyal.

Cycle 2: Flora

The magnificent beauty of flora portrayed through the lens of photo artists, speaking to the eyes in silence, taking the train of thought to pleasant blissfulness. A few works capture a frozen moment radiating all that is graceful, elegant and inspiring; others show the apparent in a cryptic way.

Cycle 2: Flora is a window into the nature’s garden through the eyes of the silent observers. These snapshots are engraved through the hands of experts and aspiring photo artists Om Yadav, Sagar Chitrakar, Cheteze Tamang, Shikhar Bhattarai, Prajwal Bhattarai, Nirbendra KC, Swapnil Acharya, Kushal Goyal, Prashant Shrestha, Sumina Subba, Prazwol Sijapati and Gaurav Dhwaj Khadka.

Cycle 1: The Beginning

The Beginning - because many of the photographers of this Cycle are first timers, with some still in high school. Even those who have had long acquaintance with photography are putting up their photos for the first time. Then there are those experienced photographers, embarking upon new dimensions of photography - which itself is a beginning to them.
